Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver

The FA-WRR1 is the receiver half of Sony's radio flash system. Mount a Multi Interface Shoe flash on top, pair it to the FA-WRC1M commander by holding the power button, and the flash can be placed anywhere within about 30 m, behind obstacles or in full sun, where an optical trigger would not see the camera. Up to 15 receivers can be combined across 5 groups.

Connected to a camera's Multi Terminal with a VMC-MM1 cable (sold separately), the same receiver becomes a remote shutter release, letting the commander fire several cameras at once from different angles. It runs about 15 hours on two AA alkaline or NiMH batteries, weighs about 85 g without them, and carries a sync output and a Multi/Micro USB port.
