Sony DWR-R03D DWX 2-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver

The DWR-R03D is the rack receiver for the DWX system: two channels of true-diversity reception in a single rack unit, with a double superheterodyne front end and detachable antennas that can be cascaded to feed additional receivers off one antenna pair. In four-diversity mode it uses four antenna inputs on a single channel when the RF environment demands it.

It is built for productions that count channels rather than microphones, supporting up to 21 simultaneous channels per 8 MHz TV band or 16 per 6 MHz band, and it carries Dante audio-over-IP so a rack of receivers lands on the network instead of on a loom of XLR. Analog output is on XLR-3-32 male, AES digital on XLR and BNC, and word sync in and out accepts an external clock from 32 kHz to 96 kHz. Dynamic range is 106 dB or better, and Wireless Studio handles remote monitoring and control.
