Sony AN-01 Unidirectional UHF Antenna with Booster
The AN-01 is a directional UHF antenna for Sony's analog and digital wireless microphone systems. It is a log-periodic dipole array, which is what gives it a single continuous 470 to 862 MHz range rather than a band you have to specify at order time, so one pair covers whatever channel plan the venue ends up with. Use two for diversity reception.
A built-in booster is switchable at 18, 10 or 0 dB so you can make up cable loss on a long run without overloading the receiver front end on a short one. Gain is 5 dBi or more with a half-power angle of 150 degrees or less and a 12 dB front-to-back ratio. It takes 9 or 12 V DC over the BNC output, and ships with a hand grip and two stand adaptors for mounting on a microphone stand.
