Sony DWT-B03R DWX Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter
The DWT-B03R is the DWX bodypack for theater, concert and studio work where the transmitter is on a performer all night. The shell is magnesium and sealed against rain, spray and sweat, and it is 27 percent smaller than the DWT-B01N it replaces, which matters when it has to disappear under wardrobe. A rechargeable NP-BX1 lithium-ion pack runs it for roughly seven hours, so a show does not depend on a mid-act battery change.
RF and audio are built for channel count: up to 21 simultaneous channels per 8 MHz TV band, or 16 per 6 MHz band, with switchable 2, 10 or 25 mW output. The mic input takes 0 to 48 dB of attenuation in 3 dB steps for a quiet lavalier or a hot instrument feed, and dynamic range runs 106 dB typical with 0.03 percent distortion in modes 1 and 2. Wireless Studio version 5.0 or later handles remote setup, and Cross Remote with an RMU-01 reaches up to 82 transmitters.
