Sony BVML-HE171 HDR Monitoring License (BVM-E171)

The BVML-HE171 is the permanent software licence that lets a BVM-E171 TRIMASTER EL OLED critical reference monitor display HDR, with wide colour gamut and the pixel-dimming black level OLED holds off-axis as well as on. It activates EOTF 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6 CRT, S-Log3 (HDR), S-Log3 (Live HDR), S-Log2 (HDR), ITU-R BT.2100 (HLG), SMPTE ST 2084 and 2.4 (HDR).

The monitor has to be on V1.1 or later first, and the licence is activated through the BKM-17R monitor control unit: order the purchase key, collect the install key from Sony's ULMS licence management site, save the licence to USB memory and insert it into the BKM-17R.
