Sony AD-R Series Metal-Mesh Windscreens for ECM Lavalier Microphones

The AD-R series is Sony's metal-mesh windscreen for its ECM lavalier microphones, a firmer alternative to the foam AD-C windscreen that holds its shape better under repeated handling and gives a slightly different tonal roll-off on wind and plosives. Each pack holds six windscreens, sized to snap onto one specific ECM model rather than a universal fit.

Stock is split by compatible mic (44, 55, 66, 77, or 88) because the mesh windscreen has to seat correctly on that model's capsule housing; picking the wrong code will not fit. Pair it with the AD-C foam windscreen or the SAD clip series to fully restock an ECM lavalier kit.
