Sony BKM-PL18 Protection Kit

The BKM-PL18 is a snap-on protection panel for the LMD-A180 18.4-inch high grade LCD monitor, built to take the abuse of load-in and load-out without marking up the screen underneath. The panel itself is AR-coated polycarbonate, so it cuts glare instead of adding a reflective layer over the picture, and it stands up to the scratches and light impacts that a monitor picks up riding in a road case or getting handled on a truss.

It mounts and comes off with four captive screws, so a shading operator can pull it for a clean, glare-free view during a critical color pass and put it right back on before the monitor goes back in the case. Because the screws are captive, there is nothing small to lose in a dark truck at strike.
