Sony SAD Series Lavalier Microphone Holder Clips

Sony cuts a different mounting clip for each garment situation instead of one compromise shape. The SAD-H is a single horizontal tie clip; SAD-V mounts the same way but oriented vertically for a collar or lapel edge that sits better with the mic pointing up; SAD-W is a double clip for running two lavalier cables together or adding a second mounting point; and SAD-S is a safety-pin style clip for fabric too thin or delicate for a standard spring clip.

Each clip is sized to one specific ECM lavalier model, so stock is split by compatible mic (44, 55, 77, or 88 depending on style) rather than sold as a universal fit. A wardrobe or A2 kit typically standardizes on one or two clip styles across whichever ECM lavalier is on hand that day.
