Shure ULXD2-SM58
The ULXD2/SM58 is a handheld transmitter for Shure's ULX-D digital wireless systems, fitted with the SM58 cardioid dynamic capsule that defines live vocals. The lightweight aluminum body and integrated antenna pair the familiar feel and feedback control of the SM58 with uncompromising digital audio and RF performance. On the ULX-D platform it delivers 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio with a flat 20 Hz to 20 kHz response and more than 120 dB of dynamic range, and AES-256 encryption secures the signal for professional sound reinforcement.
A Transmitter Mute Mode can repurpose the on/off switch into a mute that silences audio while preserving the RF channel, and frequency and power lockout guard against accidental changes mid-show. A backlit LCD keeps status readable from the stage, and the optional SB900B lithium-ion rechargeable battery delivers over 9 hours with precision metering in hours and minutes and zero memory effect. RF output is selectable at 1, 10, or 20 mW.
