Shure ULXD8 Gooseneck Base Transmitter
The ULXD8 is a wireless gooseneck base transmitter that turns a Shure Microflex gooseneck microphone into a cable-free podium or conference mic. It seats an MX405, MX410, or MX415 gooseneck (or the MX410DF and MX415DF Dualflex models) on a desktop base and transmits to a ULX-D or QLX-D digital receiver, keeping lecterns, boardroom tables, and event stages free of trailing mic cables.
It carries the ULX-D system's AES-256 encrypted digital transmission with selectable 1, 10, or 20 mW RF output and up to 300 feet of line-of-sight range, and syncs to a receiver over infrared at the touch of a button. A configurable Mute button (Toggle, Push-to-Mute, Push-to-Talk, or disabled) suits it to moderated panels and Q&A sessions, and it runs on an optional SB900B rechargeable battery for up to 9 hours or on standard AA alkalines.
