Shure ULXD2-B58
The ULXD2/B58 is a handheld transmitter for Shure's ULX-D digital wireless, fitted with the Beta 58A supercardioid dynamic capsule. The Beta 58A brings a hotter neodymium-magnet output and an enhanced midrange to the road-proven handheld, and its tight supercardioid pattern isolates the lead voice while delivering strong immunity to feedback on a loud stage. A shock-mounted cartridge and hardened steel grille shrug off nightly touring use.
ULX-D carries the vocal as 24-bit, 48 kHz digital audio with better than 120 dB of dynamic range through the analog outputs, and Shure Gain Ranging matches the transmitter to any source without manual gain trims. AES-256 encryption secures the link where confidentiality matters, and the optional SB900B lithium-ion battery gives over 12 hours of runtime with precise metering in hours and minutes. A backlit LCD, mute mode, and frequency and power lockout round out the rugged metal transmitter.
