Shure SLXD24 B87A
The SLXD24/B87A is a complete handheld vocal system built around the Beta 87A, Shure's supercardioid electret condenser. The capsule adds the airy top end and detail of a condenser to a handheld body, with a controlled low-frequency roll-off that tames proximity effect and a tight supercardioid pattern that isolates the lead voice from the band and holds off feedback. It pairs the SLXD2/B87A handheld transmitter with the SLXD4 single-channel receiver for a stage-ready package.
SLX-D carries the vocal as transparent 24-bit digital audio over a stable, predictive-switching RF link that runs up to 32 compatible channels within a 44 MHz band. Transmitter and receiver pair over a one-button IR scan and sync, and two AA batteries deliver up to eight hours, with the optional SB903 rechargeable available. The system ships with the SLXD4 receiver, SLXD2/B87A handheld transmitter, receiver antenna, rackmount hardware, and two AA batteries.
