Shure SLXD2 B87C
The SLXD2/B87C is a handheld transmitter for Shure's SLX-D digital wireless systems, fitted with the Beta 87C cardioid condenser capsule. That capsule brings the detail and airy top end of a condenser to live vocals, while the cardioid pattern tightens rejection of monitors and stage bleed to keep gain before feedback high. The transmitter carries transparent 24-bit digital audio with 118 dB of dynamic range and a 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz response.
Setup is quick: an IR sync window pairs the transmitter to its receiver in seconds, and a 44 MHz tuning bandwidth opens up to 32 channels per band for crowded RF environments. Rugged metal construction stands up to nightly use, and 2 AA batteries deliver up to 8 hours. Swap in the optional Shure SB903 Li-ion rechargeable battery to read remaining runtime in hours and minutes along with battery health. Offered in G58 (470-514 MHz), H55 (514-558 MHz), and J52 (558-616 MHz) bands.
