Shure BLX1288/CVL Combo System
The BLX1288/CVL is a dual-channel BLX combo system that pairs a lavalier and a handheld on one receiver, a practical kit for a presenter who needs both a hands-free mic and a passable handheld for Q&A. A BLX88 dual receiver hosts a BLX1 bodypack feeding a CVL cardioid condenser lavalier and a BLX2/PG58 handheld with the PG58 cardioid dynamic capsule.
The analog UHF system reaches up to 300 feet line of sight, runs up to 14 hours on a pair of AA batteries per transmitter, and supports up to 12 compatible channels in a frequency band. One-touch QuickScan finds a clean channel at setup. The system ships with the BLX88 receiver, BLX1 bodypack, CVL lavalier with clip and windscreen, BLX2/PG58 handheld, a microphone clip, and a PS24 power supply.
