Sennheiser Spectera Wireless Audio

The Spectera Base Station is the heart of Sennheiser's bidirectional wireless ecosystem, the first built on WMAS (Wireless Multichannel Audio System) technology. In a single 19-inch, 1U chassis it handles up to 64 audio links, 32 in and 32 out, across as many as two independent wideband RF carriers of 6 or 8 MHz. Because each carrier is wideband rather than a stack of narrow frequencies, one base station replaces racks of separate transmitters and receivers and carries mic, line, IEM, and IFB signals over the same RF at once.

It operates in UHF and the largely open 1G4 range, runs a 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz audio path, and connects to your network over redundant Dante with two expansion slots for optional MADI cards (optical OM or coaxial BNC). Four ruggedized RJ45 antenna ports supply PoE for extended zone coverage and redundancy, transmission is locked with AES 256 encryption, and two internal redundant power supplies keep it running. The base station must be activated with a region-specific Spectera license, sold separately. It ships with power cables for EU, UK, and US plugs plus quick and safety guides.
