The MMD 835-1 BK is the microphone head that puts Sennheiser's e 835 capsule on a wireless handheld transmitter. It is a dynamic cardioid module, the same workhorse element that has fronted stages for years, with a presence lift that helps a lead vocal cut through a band and a cardioid pattern that turns its back on monitors and PA to hold off feedback.

Being dynamic, it shrugs off high sound-pressure levels and rough stage handling without complaint. The head screws onto the transmitter body in place of the factory capsule, letting a performer swap sound without buying a new transmitter.
