Sennheiser EW-D SK BASE SET Evolution Digital Wireless System
The EW-D SK BASE SET is the bodypack half of Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital system sold without a capsule, so you pair it with the lavalier, headset, or instrument mic your job actually calls for. It bundles an EW-D EM half-rack receiver with an EW-D SK bodypack transmitter, both moving a full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz over 24-bit digital audio at 1.9 ms of latency. It is the starting point for anyone who already owns a compatible 3.5 mm-locking Sennheiser mic or wants to spec one separately.
One press of the Sync button auto-scans the 56 MHz switching bandwidth, picks a clean frequency, and transfers it to the bodypack over Bluetooth Low Energy, so a channel is ready in seconds. The BA 70 lithium-ion pack runs up to 12 hours, or standard AA cells serve as a fallback. It is offered in the Q1-6 (470.2-526 MHz), R1-6 (520-576 MHz), and R4-9 (552-607.8 MHz) frequency ranges, and ships with the EW-D EM rack receiver, EW-D SK bodypack, two rod antennas, a power supply with adapters, and a rackmount kit. No microphone is included.
