Sennheiser EW-DP 835 Handheld Wireless System

The EW-DP 835 Set is a portable digital wireless handheld system aimed at run-and-gun video, interviews, and small live rigs. The SKM-S handheld transmitter carries an MMD 835 dynamic cardioid capsule, the same reliable vocal head Sennheiser has run for decades, which shrugs off handling and gets in close on a subject while its cardioid pattern turns down the room behind it. Audio sits flat from 20 to 20,000 Hz with 1.9 ms latency and a 134 dB dynamic range.

The EW-DP EK single-channel receiver is built to ride on a camera or bag: it clips on with the included cheese plate and cold shoe, tunes across a 56 MHz range with one-touch auto-scan, and runs on the BA 70 rechargeable pack for up to 12 hours on the transmitter and 7 hours on the receiver. The set is offered in the Q1-6 (470 - 526 MHz), R1-6 (520 - 576 MHz), and R4-9 (552 - 608 MHz) ranges and ships with the EW-DP EK receiver, the SKM-S handheld with MMD 835 module, mounting hardware, a BA 70 battery with USB-C charging cable, a locking 3.5 mm TRS-to-TRS cable, and a locking 3.5 mm TRS-to-XLR cable.
