Sennheiser EW-DX MKE 2 / 835-S Set Combo Handheld/Lavalier Digital Wireless System

The EW-DX MKE 2 / 835-S Set is the combo configuration of Sennheiser's EW-DX digital wireless line, pairing a handheld and a bodypack on one two-channel receiver. One channel drives an EW-DX SKM-S handheld with the MMD 835 cardioid dynamic capsule for a vocalist, while the other runs an EW-DX SK bodypack with the MKE 2 omnidirectional lavalier for a presenter or performer who needs their hands free. The EW-DX EM 2 receiver manages both and can scan and assign frequencies on its own for a clean, equidistant grid.

The digital link runs Sennheiser's SePAC codec at roughly 1.9 ms latency with a 134 dB dynamic range, and AES 256 encryption keeps the signal secure across both channels. Each transmitter uses a BA 70 lithium-ion pack for up to 12 hours and reports its status to the receiver. The set ships with the EW-DX EM 2 receiver, an EW-DX SKM-S handheld with MMD 835 capsule, an EW-DX SK bodypack, the MKE 2 lavalier, and two BA 70 batteries.
