sE Electronics DM1 DYNAMITE Inline Active Preamp

The DM1 DYNAMITE solves the problem every quiet dynamic and passive ribbon has: preamps run out of clean gain before the microphone runs out of quiet. It plugs inline between the mic and the cable, takes 48 V phantom, and adds 28 dB of gain with 9 microvolts of output noise, so the console preamp can sit at a sane setting.

Bandwidth runs from 10 Hz to 120 kHz at -0.3 dB, which is well past anything the microphone will produce, so the DM1 does not colour what it amplifies. It presents a 10k Ohm input to the microphone and 135 Ohms out, in a 19 mm barrel with male and female XLR.
