Focusrite RedNet MP8R Eight-Channel Remote Microphone Preamp with Dante
RedNet MP8R is the stage rack preamp in the RedNet range: eight remote-controlled microphone inputs with conversion on board, sending audio straight onto a Dante network. Gain tracking outputs each channel twice, sixteen network channels from eight inputs, so front of house and monitors can hold different levels from one preamp without either engineer fighting the other.
Conversion runs to 192 kHz at 24-bit. Two etherCON ports carry redundant Dante, and two IEC inlets feed dual power supplies with fault detection, which is what makes a 1U box acceptable at the far end of a snake run. Mic inputs are eight female XLRs on the rear.
