Sachtler System Cine 20 flowtech100 MS

The 1911-FTMS is Sachtler's Cine 20 flowtech100 MS package, built around the Cine 20 fluid head on carbon fibre 2-stage legs with a mid-level spreader. It carries 2 kg to 22 kg (4.41 lb to 48.5 lb) on a 100 mm bowl. Balance and damping are stepped rather than continuous: 16 counterbalance steps + Boost Button and 7 + 0 drag settings on each axis, so a rig can be matched exactly and then repeated on the next shoot. Tilt runs +90° to -80° with 15 cm (5.91 in) of travel to find the balance point.

Set up it works between 71 cm to 172 cm (27.95 in to 67.72 in), and folds to 86 cm (33.86 in) for transport. The complete system weighs 8.3 kg (18.3 lb). Levelling is by an illuminated level bubble. Sachtler rates the head from -40°C to 60°C (-40 °F to 140 °F), so the fluid does not thicken in the cold.
