Sachtler System Cine 20 HD CF GS

The 1982 is Sachtler's Cine 20 HD CF GS package, built around the Cine 20 fluid head on carbon fibre 2-stage legs with a ground spreader. It carries 2 kg to 22 kg (4.41 lb to 48.5 lb) on a 100 mm bowl. Balance and damping are stepped rather than continuous: 16 counterbalance steps + Boost Button and 7 + 0 drag settings on each axis, so a rig can be matched exactly and then repeated on the next shoot. Tilt runs +90° to -80° with 15 cm (5.91 in) of travel to find the balance point.

Set up it works between 72 cm to 178 cm (28.35 in to 70.08 in), and folds to 94 cm (37.01 in) for transport. The complete system weighs 10.3 kg (22.71 lb). Levelling is by an illuminated level bubble. Sachtler rates the head from -40°C to 60°C (-40 °F to 140 °F), so the fluid does not thicken in the cold.
