Sachtler FSB 4

The FSB 4 (0307) is a Sachtler fluid head from the FSB range, rated for 0 kg to 4 kg (0 lb to 8.82 lb), on a 75 mm bowl. It gives 5 steps + 0 and 3 + 0 drag settings on pan and tilt, which is what lets a shouldered camera start and stop a move without the head fighting it. Tilt runs 90° to -70°.

The camera mounts on a sideload plate S plate with 12 cm (4.72 in) of sliding range to set the centre of gravity. Sachtler supplies one pan bar (Pan bar DV 75) on a ⌀ 16/-/28 mm attachment. Levelling is by a level bubble. The head weighs 2.4 kg (5.29 lb) and is rated from -40°C to 60°C (-40 °F to 140 °F).
