Sachtler FSB/aktiv Sideload plate | Ace Slide in plate

The FSB/aktiv Sideload plate | Ace Slide in plate (0164) is Sachtler's FSB/aktiv Sideload and Ace Slide in camera plate for the aktiv6, aktiv8, aktiv10, FSB 4, FSB 6, FSB 8, FSB 6 Mk II, FSB 8 Mk II, FSB 10, FSB 10 Mk II and Ace fluid heads. The plate has to match the head: the FSB/aktiv Sideload and Ace Slide in interface is what the head's own clamp is cut for, and a plate from another Sachtler family will not seat in it.

It measures length 14 cm (5.51 in), width 50 mm (1.97 in), and weighs 0.12 kg (0.26 lb). Keeping a second one built to a camera is the quickest way to swap bodies on a head without rebalancing from scratch.
