Roland Rubix44 USB Audio Interface
The Rubix44 is the four-channel end of the line: four XLR combo inputs on low-noise preamps, each with +48 V phantom at 6 mA, and four balanced 1/4-inch TRS outputs. That is enough to track a drum overhead pair with two close mics, or to run a small band live into a laptop while still sending two independent stereo feeds back out.
Both input pairs get their own panel-accessible analog compressor / limiter, so peaks are handled in hardware before conversion rather than repaired in the mix. The converters run 24-bit at 44.1, 48, 96, or 192 kHz. MIDI IN and OUT are fitted, headphone monitoring is a stereo 1/4-inch jack rated 20 mW + 20 mW into 47 ohms, and the interface connects over Hi-Speed USB on a Type B port with an AC adaptor for power. The unit measures 310 x 165 x 46 mm and weighs 1.8 kg.
