RDL DD-BN2ML Wall-Mounted Bi-Directional 2x2 Mic/Line Dante Interface
The RDL DD-BN2ML is a bi-directional wall-plate Dante interface built for rooms that mix a professional microphone with a consumer source. One XLR input handles a mic or line signal onto the network, while a second mini-jack input accepts a mono or stereo unbalanced line source such as a laptop or media player and sums it to mono. Two Dante channels come back as balanced line outputs on a rear-panel detachable terminal block, keeping the front of the plate clean.
The XLR input carries three front-panel switches for P48 phantom, mic-or-line gain range, and gain, with mic gains of 40, 48, and 62 dB and line gains of unity, 12, and 19 dB. Each output provides +4 dBu balanced for a -20 dBFS network level, with a selector to unbalance the audio and drop it to -10 dBV for consumer gear. The DD-BN2ML is PoE powered, needs no special software, and fits a standard US dual-gang box or an RDL WB-2 back box for thinner walls. This model ships in white, with black and stainless-steel finishes available.
