RDL RCX-5CM Room Combining Controller

The RDL RCX-5CM is the mic-muting version of the RCX-5C room combining controller, a single rack-space unit that routes and controls audio for up to five rooms combined in any adjacent arrangement. It suits divisible meeting spaces, banquet halls and houses of worship, and it adds one behavior that matters in those rooms: when a room is listening to background music, the RCX-5CM mutes that room's microphones so a live mic does not open into the music feed. Each room can take a line source or a mic-plus-line feed set for dynamic or condenser microphones, and MUSIC and PAGING inputs can be routed to any room.

Every room input has a front-panel level knob with LED metering, and all switching and gain control is electronic with memory so combinations recall cleanly. The controller connects to wall-mounted remote input panels for in-room source selection, and two units may be linked where a larger building needs two groups of rooms to combine.
