Nord Electro 7 HP 73-Key Hammer Action Stage Keyboard

The Nord Electro 7 HP swaps the waterfall keys of its siblings for a 73-note Kawai triple-sensor hammer action, so the Nord Piano Library sounds get the weighted touch they deserve while the organ and synth sections stay on the same panel. The piano section carries string resonance, timbre settings, three keyboard touch curves, dynamic compression and 120 voices of polyphony. The organ section is the Nord Organ 3 engine with B3, Soft B3, Vox, Farfisa and Pipe models on physical drawbars, and the rotary speaker offers Close, Wide and XY mic positions. The new synth section handles samples, analog and FM sounds, and each section has dedicated effects plus a global reverb with a spring type that sits ahead of the rotary.

A pitch stick and modulation wheel sit at the left of the keybed. The rear panel has unbalanced quarter-inch L/R outputs, a headphone jack, a 3.5 mm monitor input, expression, sustain and rotary/foot-switch pedal jacks, five-pin MIDI in and out, and USB for MIDI, updates and Sound Manager transfers. The sustain jack works with the Nord Sustain Pedal 2 for continuous half-pedaling and with the Triple Pedal 1. Power is an IEC cord. At 13 kg it sits on the Nord Keyboard Stand EX and fits the Nord Soft Case HP. Ships with a user manual and power cord.
