Nord Electro 7 61 Stage Keyboard

The Nord Electro 7 61 is the five-octave member of the Electro 7 line, built for players who want organ, piano and synth in a board light enough to carry in one hand. Its organ section is taken from the Nord Organ 3, with B3, Soft B3, Vox, Farfisa and Pipe models driven from physical drawbars with LED indicators, plus the Organ 3 rotary speaker with Close, Wide and XY mic positions. The piano section runs the full Nord Piano Library with string resonance, timbre settings and 120 voices of polyphony, and a new synth section adds sample playback alongside analog and FM synthesis. Each section gets its own effects, a large color display shows what you are editing, and 500 program locations plus five Live programs hold your sets.

The 61-key semi-weighted waterfall keybed suits organ and clav work and takes a Half-Moon Switch on its mount. Connections are unbalanced quarter-inch L/R outputs, a headphone jack, a 3.5 mm monitor input, expression, sustain and rotary/foot-switch pedal jacks, five-pin MIDI in and out, and USB for MIDI, updates and sound transfer through the Nord Sound Manager. Power is an IEC cord, so there is no external supply to lose. The 61 omits the pitch stick and modulation wheel found on the 73 and HP models. Ships with a user manual and power cord.
