Nord Electro 7 73 Stage Keyboard

The Nord Electro 7 73 is the six-octave, E-to-E version of the Electro 7 and the one most organ and keyboard players will reach for on a gig. The organ section comes straight from the Nord Organ 3: B3, Soft B3, Vox, Farfisa and Pipe models, physical drawbars with LED indicators, percussion and vibrato/chorus controls, and the Organ 3 rotary speaker with Close, Wide and XY mic positions. The piano section runs the Nord Piano Library with string resonance and 120-voice polyphony, and the new synth section adds sample, analog and FM sounds with a filter, envelopes and unison. Every section has its own effects, from the Mod 1 and Mod 2 blocks through amp models, delay, compressor and a global reverb with a spring type that sits before the rotary.

The 73-key semi-weighted waterfall keybed is joined by a pitch stick and modulation wheel, and the panel carries a mount for the Half-Moon Switch. Round the back you get unbalanced quarter-inch L/R outputs, a headphone jack, a 3.5 mm monitor input, expression, sustain and rotary/foot-switch pedal jacks, five-pin MIDI in and out, and USB for MIDI, updates and sound transfer. Power is an IEC cord. At 9.5 kg it goes into a Nord Soft Case 73 with room to spare. Ships with a user manual and power cord.
