Nord Single Pedal 2 (SP2)
The Nord Single Pedal 2 replaces the on/off switch of an ordinary sustain pedal with continuous sensors, so the instrument reads how far the pedal is pressed rather than just whether it is down. On a compatible Nord that means real half-damping in the piano section and the Pedal Noise feature, which adds the mechanical sound of the damper lifting and dropping. It is the sustain pedal Nord specifies for the Stage 4, Grand 2, Piano 6, Organ 3 and Electro 7.
Beyond sustain, the pedal can be assigned to switch Rotor Speed on the organ section or used as a Morph source, sweeping any morph-assigned parameter with the foot. An anti-slip rubber mat is included to keep it planted on a stage floor. If you need sostenuto and una corda as well, the Triple Pedal 2 offers the same continuous sensing in a three-pedal unit.
