MOTU 624 16x16 Thunderbolt/USB3 Audio Interface with AVB Networking

The 624 fits studio-grade conversion into a half-rack chassis. ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology delivers 123 dB dynamic range, the same analog quality MOTU puts in the flagship 1248. The panel gives two mic inputs, two guitar inputs, 4 x 6 balanced analog with dedicated main outs, an 8-channel ADAT optical bank that also does stereo TOSLink, and an independent headphone output, for 16 inputs and 16 outputs in total.

It connects by Thunderbolt, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 or AVB/TSN Ethernet, supports up to 256 audio channels over the network, and is class compliant so it works with an iPad through a camera connection kit. Round-trip latency measures as low as 1.6 ms at 96 kHz over Thunderbolt and 1.9 ms over USB. The 48-input mixer adds 7 stereo aux busses, 3 groups, modeled LA-2A style compression and British console EQ, all controlled from a browser on any device sharing the network.
