MOTU M4 4x4 USB-C Audio Interface with Full-Color Metering

The M4 takes the M2's front end, two XLR/TRS combo jacks for microphone, line or Hi-Z guitar with individual gain, phantom and monitor switching, and adds a second pair of quarter-inch line inputs on the rear for a synth, a drum machine or a second interface. Outputs double as well: four balanced TRS line outs, DC coupled for control-voltage work, mirrored on four RCA jacks.

A dedicated input monitor mix knob blends live input against playback without touching the DAW, and a 3-4 switch sends the second output pair to the headphones. The 160 x 128 full-color LCD meters every input and output. Sample rates reach 192 kHz, MIDI in and out carry 16 channels, and the unit is bus-powered over USB-C and compatible with USB Type-A hosts.
