Miller 850 Tripod System

The Miller 850 is a complete system built on the DS20 fluid head and a Toggle 420 two-stage aluminum tripod. The DS20 carries 11 to 22 lb on a 75mm ball, with two counterbalance positions, 360-degree pan, and +90 to -75 degree tilt on caliper disc brakes. Its dynamic fluid drag holds a smooth, backlash-free move across a wide temperature range, making it a dependable base for professional ENG and studio work.

The 850 differs from the 848 by shipping with an above-ground spreader in place of the ground spreader, which braces the legs up off the floor for stable setup on steps, slopes, or uneven ground. The kit includes the DS20 head, Toggle 420 two-stage tripod, above-ground spreader, pan handle, soft case, shoulder strap, and rubber feet.
