Magewell Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus PCIe Capture Card (11180)

Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus is the card for a 4K signal that arrives on coax, in whatever link arrangement the plant happens to use. It accepts a single 12G-SDI feed, a dual-link 6G-SDI pair, or a quad-link 3G-SDI set, and captures up to 4096 x 2160. That flexibility matters because 4K SDI installations rarely agree on one topology, and a card locked to 12G alone would strand a quad-3G camera.

The full SD, HD, 3G, 6G, and 12G range is supported, so the same card still handles the HD sources in the rack. It sits on a PCIe Gen2 x4 interface and performs scaling, color-space conversion, and de-interlacing on board, leaving host CPU for encoding. Windows, Linux, and macOS see it as a standard video device.
