Magewell Director Plus 4K Live Production System (55290)

Director Plus is the top of Magewell's Director line: a portable 4K switcher, encoder, recorder and presentation deck in one body, sized for an event team that travels with the show. Four HDMI inputs and two USB AV inputs cover the cameras and the laptop on the lectern, and ten simultaneous IP sources arrive over SRT, RTMP, RTSP or NDI, so a remote presenter joins the same grid as the room. Video runs at 4K60 and 1080p60 through the switcher, and a 7-inch AMOLED touchscreen at 800 nits stays readable in a bright ballroom.

Encoding reaches 2160p60 at up to 120 Mbps and pushes to as many as four platforms at once, while four-channel ISO recording writes the individual sources to internal, SD or USB storage for the edit afterwards. Program leaves on two HDMI outputs and a USB-C port that presents the mix as a webcam to a soft codec. Connectivity is the part that matters on the road: a built-in 5G modem, WiFi 6E and 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, so the stream has a path even when the venue network does not cooperate. The unit measures 185.2 x 117.2 x 38.5 mm and carries a two-year device warranty with one year on the screen.
