Lake People G105 MKII Headphone Amplifier

The G105 MKII is the mid-size Lake People desktop headphone amplifier, 168 x 47 x 165 mm, and the first in the range to take balanced sources. Gold-plated Neutrik XLR inputs sit alongside gold-plated RCA inputs at 10 kOhm, both at +6 dBu sensitivity.

OPA551 power op-amps drive the headphone output from an impedance under 0.125 ohm, and dynamic range measures better than 126 dB. PRE-GAIN sets internal gain in seven steps so a sensitive in-ear and a 600 ohm studio headphone can both be driven properly from the same unit. Frequency response runs 5 Hz to 150 kHz with crosstalk at -95 dB at 1 kHz. Machined aluminum case, built in Germany.
