Lake People Phone-Amp G118 Rackmount Headphone Amplifier

The G118 puts the proven G111 MKII headphone amplifier circuit into a 19 inch, 1U stainless steel housing for rack and studio installation. Two balanced inputs arrive on Neutrik XLR connectors and are selectable on the front panel, and PRE-GAIN is brought out to the front as a 6-step control rather than being hidden inside the case.

The front panel adds the monitoring tools an engineer reaches for on a headphone feed: mono, stereo and phase reverse switching, a VU meter for level, and X-Feed, which crossfeeds a little of each channel into the other to make a headphone image sit more like loudspeakers.
