Lake People Phone-Amp F388-2-D Rackmount Headphone Amplifier

The F388-2-D is the two-channel version of the Lake People rackmount headphone amplifier, built into a 19 inch, 1U stainless steel housing for studio and broadcast racks. Each channel takes a balanced input on a Neutrik XLR connector at 10 kOhm with +6 dBu sensitivity, and runs its own amplifier.

Output power is specified across the impedances headphones actually present: 425 mW into 600 ohms, 800 mW into 300 ohms, 2,250 mW into 100 ohms, 1,100 mW into 32 ohms and 490 mW into 16 ohms. Signal to noise measures better than 120 dBA with THD+N under 0.002 percent, and frequency response runs 5 Hz to 50 kHz within half a dB. PRE-GAIN adapts internal gain in five steps. Built in Germany.
