Lake People Mic-Amp F355 Class-A Microphone Preamplifier
This is the F355 microphone preamplifier ordered with the Class-A front end, a separate item number at Lake People rather than a retrofit. Everything on the front panel is the same: stepped gain from 0 to +66 dB in twelve 6 dB steps with a defeatable plus or minus 5 dB fine trim, and a 16-step meter reading 0 to -36 dBr that calibrates from the front.
The variable low cut sweeps 12 to 250 Hz at 12 dB per octave and switches out of circuit, and there is a 12 dB pad, switchable 48 V phantom power, phase reverse, a separate clip indicator and the programmable muting system. Maximum input level is above +21 dBu, or above +33 dBu with the pad engaged. THD+N stays under 0.001 percent across a 5 Hz to 150 kHz range. GP-IO control is available as an option.
