Lake People G103-S MKII Headphone Amplifier

The G103-S MKII is the compact mains-powered Lake People headphone amplifier, 105 x 42 x 163 mm in a machined aluminum case. Line sources connect on gold-plated RCA sockets at 10 kOhm, taking up to +21 dBu, and OPA551 power op-amps drive the headphone output from an impedance below 0.1 ohm.

PRE-GAIN sets internal gain in five steps, so the amplifier is adapted to the headphones rather than leaving that to the volume control. Dynamic range is better than 124 dB A-weighted over a 10 Hz to 150 kHz range, and crosstalk measures -90 dB at 1 kHz. The internal supply runs on 230 V or 115 V AC.
