LEA Professional Connect 168 8-Channel Smart Amplifier

The LEA Professional Connect 168 is an IoT-enabled install amplifier with 8 channels rated at 160 W each into 4 ohms, 8 ohms, 70V or 100V, with impedance selectable per channel so a single unit can feed low-impedance and constant-voltage zones at the same time. Eight channels in 1U is the reason this model exists: large multi-zone installs, stadium concourses, and campus systems where rack space is the scarce resource.

Setup and monitoring run in a web browser with no software to install, reached through the amplifier's own Wi-Fi access point, an existing wireless network, or a wired LAN, and the same interface is available remotely through LEA Cloud. Onboard processing is a 96 kHz Analog Devices Sigma DSP with a routable input matrix, 48 dB per octave crossovers, eight bands of parametric EQ per channel, user-adjustable speaker limiters, and real-time load monitoring. An external I/O port handles remote power and fault reporting, and the universal switch-mode supply with power factor correction runs on anything from 100 to 240 VAC. The D models add Dante audio over IP alongside the analog inputs.
