Kramer KDS-100DEC-U Open-Standard 4K AVoIP Decoder with Ultra-Low Latency
The Kramer KDS-100DEC-U is a 4K AVoIP decoder with KVM, adding keyboard and mouse extension over IP to the video and audio the standard KDS-100DEC already carries. That turns a display position into a working seat at a remote machine rather than just a monitor of it.
Streaming is open-standard H.264 and H.265, so it interoperates with third-party AVoIP gear, and it runs dual streams: a primary 4K@30Hz feed alongside a secondary 1080p@60Hz feed. Latency is around 40ms. It takes power and data on one LAN+PoE connection and breaks out HDMI, RS-232, IR transmit and receive, unbalanced stereo, USB-A, and a pass-through LAN port. Predefined profiles autodetect a KDS-100EN-U encoder, and security meets HTTPS, 802.1x, and OWASP-10.
