The LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA is a scalable, efficient long-throw mid/high unit for venues where a standard 80 by 60 cabinet would lose too much energy to distance. Three 8-inch cone drivers on 1.5-inch voice coils pair with a 1-inch compression driver on an MCT horn, throwing an asymmetrical 60 by +5/-25 degree pattern to 133 dB average and 138 dB peak from a cabinet that weighs just 55 pounds.

Biamped Class D power delivers 600 W RMS and 1,200 W peak through a DSP preamplifier running a 48 kHz parametric 10-band EQ, with MILAN digital audio transmission support for networked touring rigs. Connections cover an XLR/jack combo input, XLR output and DSP out, and Ethercon RJ45 in/out, powered through Powercon NAC3. The birch plywood cabinet is finished in acrylic enamel jet black.
