Hiwatt Bulldog 770 Studio
The Bulldog 770 Studio is the range's biggest amp in a rack: 770 watts at 8 ohms and the original Hiwatt analogue bass preamp, wrapped in a lightweight metal shell instead of a birch ply head box.
EQ is two interactive bands plus a bypassable seven-band graphic. The limiter is bypassable, so it is there for compression or out of the circuit for maximum headroom. Active and passive input levels cover active and passive basses, and XLR and line outputs give the engineer a transparent direct feed.
