Eiki EDCP2000 Full Digital Networked DSP Conference Processor
The EDCP2000 is the controller a full Eiki conference system builds around: a 1U rack processor that runs the AUDIO-LINK digital ring network, carrying up to 64 channels of audio and control data over a single CAT5e cable to every wired or wireless discussion unit in the room. A hand-in-hand loop connection keeps the system running even if a unit is unplugged or fails, and each microphone gets an independent ID so units can be added or swapped without reconfiguring anything.
One controller handles up to 32 wired microphones in full-on mode and up to 8 wireless units at once, with discussion modes (open, voice-activated, apply-to-speak, override, and chairman override), voting, simultaneous interpretation, and echo-cancelled two-way calling to a remote room or a third-party video conferencing terminal. It records straight to USB with noise cancellation, drives up to 16 POE speakers through an extension unit, and connects to EIKI's EAP4C access points for the wireless side of the system.
