Focusrite Red 8Line 58-In 64-Out Thunderbolt 3 and Pro Tools HD Audio Interface
Red 8Line is the smaller of the two Red line interfaces, with eight analogue line channels on DB-25 rather than sixteen, and the same 58 inputs by 64 outputs of total channel capacity across all its connections. Two Red Evolution microphone preamps with 0 to 63 dB of gain and two instrument inputs handle the sources that arrive at the desk.
Beyond the analogue I/O it carries sixteen channels of ADAT, stereo S/PDIF and 32 channels of Dante on dual RJ45, plus twin Mini DigiLink ports giving 32 in and 32 out per connection to a Pro Tools HD system. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports carry 58 in and 64 out to the computer. Monitor and headphone outputs are on 1/4 inch TRS, and sample rates go to 192 kHz at 24-bit.
