Focusrite Red 16Line 64-Channel Thunderbolt 3 and Pro Tools HD Audio Interface

Red 16Line is the interface for a room that has to serve both a native DAW and a Pro Tools HD rig without repatching. Sixteen line inputs and sixteen line outputs arrive on DB-25, two Red Evolution microphone preamps with 0 to 63 dB of gain and two instrument inputs sit on the front, and the whole thing runs up to 64 channels in and 64 out simultaneously.

Two Thunderbolt 3 ports handle the computer, two Mini DigiLink ports handle Pro Tools HD, and 32 by 32 channels of Dante put the interface on an audio-over-IP network at the same time. Conversion is rated 118 dB dynamic range on the A-D side and 121 dB on the D-A, A-weighted, at sample rates to 192 kHz. Two headphone outputs and monitor outputs complete the front end.
