Datavideo SE-4000

The SE-4000 is a plug-and-play 4K digital video switcher that cuts a real UHD 4K60/50p show from eight live channels. It carries twelve physical inputs, eight 12G-SDI and four HDMI 2.0, and any eight of them are selectable for switching, with a built-in scaler on every input so mismatched HD and 4K sources land clean on the program bus. A 5 inch LCD touchscreen sets up and programs the effects without a laptop.

The effects engine is deep for a switcher this size: four upstream keyers for chroma, luma, or linear keying, two downstream keyers, two picture-in-picture, a still store, character generator, animated logos, and a 64-pattern wipe generator with stinger and 2D DVE transitions, enough to run a full virtual-studio look. Program and preview leave on four 12G-SDI and three HDMI 2.0 outputs, four XLR inputs bring in analog audio, and the main unit mounts into a standard 19 inch rack.
